Haas Center for Business Research and Economic Development

Jennifer Whitfield has eight years of experience in digital media projects, including web, print and other electronic media. She received her BA in Communication Arts from the University of West Florida where she concentrated her studies on computer graphics, advertising and studio art. Jen is currently pursuing a MSA in Human Performance Technology.

Jen’s career with the Haas Center began in 2001. Through the Haas Center, where she serves as Digital Media Coordinator, Jen designs and administers digital media programs and publications that deliver business data and statistics to the public. She has developed web and print applications for the Haas Center, UWF, the Florida Defense Alliance, the Florida Small Business Development Center Network, Florida’s Great Northwest, TEAM Santa Rosa, the City of Milton, Santa Rosa Education Foundation and the national Association for University Business and Economic Research (AUBER).

Jen serves on the AUBER Board of Directors and Web Advisory Committee and the UWF Festival on the Green Committee; is a member of the International Webmasters Association, the HTML Writers Guild, the Internet Professional Publishers Association, and the eWeek Magazine Advisory Panel. She also does freelance design work and photography for artists, businesses, sports teams, authors, doctors and individuals.
